Decker, Tamaro-Holmes shoot to top
Florence Elks Lodge 1858 Hoop Shoot winners advance to district finals
Miles Decker and Moxie Tamaro-Holmes repeated as individual champions at the recent Florence Elks Lodge 1858 Hoop Shoot basketball free-throw competition at Siuslaw Elementary School.
The top shooters in the three boys and girls divisions qualify for the district championships Jan. 25 in Sweet Home.
Winners can advance to regional and national competitions.
Decker won the boys ages 12-13 division, building on his 2024 victory in boys 10-11.
Tamaro-Holmes, winner for girls 8-9 last year, won the girls 10-11 division.
